Shyamala Rao visited the Phase-I stretch of the Musi Riverfront Development Project on Thursday and reviewed progress at Osmansagar, the Narsingi STP site, and the Gandhi Sarovar project lands. During the inspection, he held detailed discussions with senior officials on flood mitigation, sewage treatment integration, land development, and infrastructure planning. The Chief Secretary also suggested that MRDCL and HMDA prepare a separate master plan for the area between the Musa and Eesa rivers up to their confluence at Gandhi Sarovar to improve connectivity and support sustainable urban growth.
