CISCE Regional Athletic Meet – 2023
The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Honorable Chief Guests Mr. Gandham Harsha Vardhan, General Secretary, Hockey, AP and Mrs. Satti Geetha Reddy, Olympic Athlete and 2016 Dhyan Chand Awardee.
Hyderabad: The CISCE Regional Athletic Meet – 2023 was hosted by St. Joseph’s School, Asmangadh Palace, Malakpet, Hyderabad at G.M.C. Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad,22nd to 24th August, 2023 under the able guidance of Mrs U. A. Sundari, Secretary-Treasurer, ASISC, AP and Telangana Region, Games & Sports Coordinator, CISCE and Principal of the host school.
The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Honorable Chief Guests Mr. Gandham Harsha Vardhan, General Secretary, Hockey, AP and Mrs. Satti Geetha Reddy, Olympic Athlete and 2016 Dhyan Chand Awardee.
The Guest of Honour for the day was Dr. Godwin Daniel Athishtam, Educational Officer of the Council for CISCE, Regional Office at Habsiguda. Principals of various ICSE & ISC Schools elevated the Event with their presence. The Chief Guest declared the Regional Athletic Meet open for Boys and Girls under all the categories.
An approximate number of 1150 participants from around 38 schools participated in the Athletic Meet.
The participants began the games and sports with full swing and enthusiasm. Trophies were awarded for Team Championships of different events and also few Medals for the Athletic Winners.
The first day of the Tournament ended in a fruitful manner.
