CMC demolishes 19 unauthorized constructions

Officials also identified 26 additional illegal constructions and issued 12 notices to the concerned property owners or persons responsible.

Cyberabad : The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has intensified its crackdown on unauthorized constructions across the city, carrying out demolitions against structures found to be in violation of municipal regulations.

On August 29, CMC officials demolished 19 unauthorized structures during enforcement operations. Officials also identified 26 additional illegal constructions and issued 12 notices to the concerned property owners or persons responsible.

The Serilingampally Zone recorded the highest number of demolitions, with 9 structures removed. This was followed by Quthbullapur Zone, where 6 unauthorized structures were demolished, and Kukatpally Zone, which recorded 4 demolitions.

In addition, officials have identified seven more buildings for future enforcement action. The corporation is expected to take further steps after completing the required procedures and serving notices where necessary.

CMC officials said the action is aimed at preventing unauthorized development and ensuring compliance with approved building plans and municipal regulations.

The corporation reiterated that unauthorized constructions will not be tolerated and warned property owners and developers against carrying out construction without the required permissions.
