The last date for submission of applications for the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted for lateral entry to engineering colleges in Telangana has been extended from May 5 to May 8.
Talking to journalists here today, Convenor ECET Professor Sri Ram Venkatesh said that candidates can submit applications till May 8 without any penalty.
Rs 500 for SC, ST and disabled candidates and Rs. 900 for others have been fixed for the students who have not applied till now to avail this opportunity. Applications can be filed till May 12 with a penalty of Rs 2500.
Hall tickets can be downloaded from May 15. And on May 20, the state-wide eligibility test will be conducted. Students who have completed Polytechnic, BSc (Mathematics) through lateral entry are directly admitted to B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses through ECET.
