Everest Transitional Care Center Inaugurated in Hyderabad, Boosting Post-Hospital Recovery Services
The event concluded with a guided tour of the facility for the guests, along with a commitment from the leadership team to collaborate with local hospitals to create seamless recovery pathways for patients.

In a significant step towards strengthening post-hospital recovery services, Everest Transitional Care, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to acute inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care, was formally inaugurated in Hyderabad.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a distinguished panel of healthcare and civic leaders, including Dr. Pavan Gorukanti as the Chief Guest. Other prominent attendees included Jagadhish Goud, Bhimnadham Barath Reddy, and Mounika Reddy Atla.
The facility, founded by Dr. K. Sudheer Reddy, an alumnus of Osmania Medical College with over two decades of clinical experience in the United States, aims to bridge a critical gap in India’s healthcare system—post-acute recovery and rehabilitation.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Pavan Gorukanti emphasized the importance of such specialized care facilities. He noted that while hospitals play a crucial role in stabilizing patients, transitional care centers are essential for helping individuals regain their quality of life after major surgeries or medical conditions.
Dr. K. Sudheer Reddy shared his vision behind establishing the center, stating that his goal was to ensure that patients in India receive world-class rehabilitation services without having to go abroad. He highlighted that the center is equipped to handle recovery from stroke, spinal injuries, and geriatric conditions in a scientifically structured environment.
The Everest Transitional Care Center is equipped with advanced robotics, specialized therapy zones, and dedicated rehabilitation floors for conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease—features that are rarely available in conventional hospital settings.
