HYDRAA Prajavani Takes 4-Week Break for Disposal of Pending Grievances

HYDRAA Commissioner A V Ranganath has announced a four-week Breal of the HYDRAA Prajavani programme to focus on clearing thousands of pending complaints received from the public.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Commissioner said the temporary break was being implemented to resolve complaints received through Prajavani and other grievance platforms on a priority basis.

The HYDRAA Prajavani programme will resume as usual from June 8, according to the official statement.

HYDRAA Working to Resolve Thousands of Complaints

Commissioner A V Ranganath stated that a large number of complaints had been received through the Prajavani programme and other channels.

He said the four-week break was necessary to clear all remaining pending complaints efficiently and systematically.

According to the statement:

  • HYDRAA Prajavani will remain Closed for 4 weeks
  • The programme will restart from June 8
  • Officials are prioritising disposal of pending grievances
  • Complaints received through multiple formats are also being reviewed

Urgent Complaints Can Still Be Submitted Directly

The HYDRAA Commissioner clarified that complainants who had already submitted complaints earlier and considered their issues urgent could directly visit the office and meet officials.

He also stated that citizens facing important issues could continue to approach the office directly and submit complaints even during the four-week Break period.

The Commissioner explained that the temporary pause was intended only to improve complaint resolution efficiency and clear the pending backlog.

HYDRAA Focuses on Pending Grievance Redressal

According to the statement, the decision was taken with the objective of clearing all pending complaints received under the HYDRAA Prajavani initiative and through other complaint mechanisms.

Officials are expected to use the four-week period to process and resolve pending public grievances before the programme resumes next month.
