Fake police officer arrested in Hyderabad

The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) police in Telangana arrested a fake police officer and confiscated Rs. 10,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and a motorcycle from him.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) police in Telangana arrested a fake police officer and confiscated Rs. 10,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and a motorcycle from him.

The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Sri Kanth Teja, a resident of Gudi Malkapur, who had threatened and extorted money from the management of massage parlors and beauty parlors.

Recently, he had collected Rs. 5,000 from the owner of a beauty parlor by showing a fake police identification card. Upon complaints from the victims, a case has been registered against him.”
