Sand and Cement Transport Lorries to Be Diverted for Paddy Movement

The minister instructed officials to withdraw lorries engaged in sand transport and use them for transportation of procured paddy.

He also directed that lorries involved in cement dispatches should be diverted for paddy transportation to mills.

Special Measures Ahead of Bakrid Holidays

Uttam Kumar Reddy focused on precautionary arrangements for the coming days, especially with Bakrid holidays likely to create shortages of drivers and hamalis.
