As the summer season arrives early in Telangana, the Education Department has announced the implementation of half-day schools starting from March 15.

Hyderabad: As the summer season arrives early in Telangana, the Education Department has announced the implementation of half-day schools starting from March 15.

Regardless of their management, all schools will operate on a half-day basis until the conclusion of the academic year on April 23.

Under this arrangement, classes will be held from 8 am to 12:30 pm. Students attending government schools will receive their mid-day meals after the morning classes. However, for schools designated as SSC Public Exam centers, mid-day meals will be provided before classes in the afternoon.

Additionally, special sessions will be organized for students preparing for the SSC Public Examinations 2024 after lunch.

This decision aims to ensure the well-being of students amidst the rising temperatures and to optimize their learning environment during the remaining academic period.
