The Telangana Government has shifted the Rythu Bharosa fund distribution programme from Madhira in Khammam district to Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad after heavy rains made the original venue unsuitable. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who was scheduled to address the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha in Madhira on Tuesday, will now officially release the Rythu Bharosa funds at Shilpakala Vedika. The change was made after severe waterlogging at the proposed venue due to inclement weather.

Heavy Rains Force Change in Rythu Ashirvada Sabha Venue
The Rythu Ashirvada Sabha was originally planned at Jagannathapuram in Chintakani Mandal of the Madhira Assembly Constituency in Khammam district.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was scheduled to attend the meeting and distribute Rythu Bharosa funds to beneficiaries.
However, continuous heavy rainfall resulted in significant waterlogging at the venue, making it impractical to conduct the event.
Government Shifts Rythu Bharosa Launch to Hyderabad
Following the adverse weather conditions, the government decided to cancel the Madhira meeting and shift the programme to Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister will officially release the Rythu Bharosa funds from Hyderabad.
He has also instructed Ministers and officials to make the necessary arrangements for the revised programme.
Preparations Were Made for One Lakh Participants
Extensive arrangements had already been completed for the Madhira meeting.
The preparations were supervised by:
- Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka
- Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao
- Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy
The event was expected to attract around one lakh participants, and all arrangements had been made to accommodate the large gathering.
District Officials Report Waterlogging
According to the report, district officials informed the Ministers and the Chief Minister’s Office that the venue had become unsuitable because of extensive waterlogging caused by recent heavy rains.
Based on this assessment, the government decided to relocate the event to Hyderabad.
Farmers to Participate Through Rythu Vedikas
Instead of gathering in Madhira, farmers from across Telangana will participate in the programme through their respective local Rythu Vedikas, while the Chief Minister releases the funds from Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad.
