Hyderabad: The Kanchanbagh Police registered a case against BJP MLA T Raja Singh for making derogatory remarks against a Sufi Saint and outraging religious beliefs of Muslims.
A twitter user posted a video claiming that Raja Singh made disgusting comments against Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
The case was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged against the legislator by a local resident after watching the video on YouTube. The case was booked under Section 295A of IPC. Telangana Today reported.
