Hyderabad: Food delivery executive Adil set ablaze after being doused with petrol

Hyderabad: Three persons doused a 25-year-old youngster Adil with petrol and set him ablaze. The incident occurred inside the premises of the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) at Erragadda in the city, late on Friday night. The victim died while undergoing treatment on Sunday. 

The three suspects have been detained and police are interrogating them. 

Police found that the victim and the accused were earlier involved in property offences. The New Indian Express reported.

Adil a resident of Old Quarters located in the IMH campus, was at a hotel near AG Colony, on Friday night when the accused Mohammed, his associates Sohail and Azhar, came to him. 

They took him near the Prisons ward at the IMH premises, where they doused Adil with petrol, set him ablaze and fled.

After listening to the shouts of Adil, people residing in the quarters rushed to his rescue and shifted him Osmania Hospital for treatment, where he died of third degree burns.

According to Times of India the victim was a food delivery executive.
