Hyderabad: Hyderabad police have registered a case against a husband who pronounced triple talaq to his wife over the phone.
According to Chandrayangutta Police, Ms. Ishrat Parveen, age 27 years, resident of Noori Nagar, B Block, Bandlaguda filed a complaint that she was married on 17-07-2016 to Fazlur Rehman Rahmani resident of Bihar State.
On 22-02-2023 at around 11.00 PM she came to know that her husband has married Nazia Parveen in Bihar. When she called him to confirm the news both had an argument. Following which husband uttered the words “talaq, talaq, talaq” and disconnected the phone call.
Based on this complaint, a case was registered and investigation was initiated.
