Hyderabad: Joyride on RX100 claims teenager Abdur Rahman’s life

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a teenager died while his 12-year-old friend suffered injuries when a Yamaha RX100 bike they were travelling on brushed against another two-wheeler before hitting the median. The horrific accident occurred near Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

17-year-old, Md Abdur Rahman who died on the spot was the resident of BS Maqta, while his friend Aslam Bin Mohsin of MS Maqta was injured in the accident. The Times of India reported.

On Wednesday evening, Rahman took permission from his father to meet Aslam. After meeting his friend at his house at MS Maqta, the duo sneaked out with the bike keys of Aslam’s father.

Panjagutta inspector Niranjan Reddy informed that Rahman was riding the bike, while Aslam was pillion riding.

At Khairiatabad signal, Rahman attempted to overtake another bike and lost control. Both the riders fell on the iron grill on the divider near Raj Bhavan. Suffering severe injuries on his chest Rahman died on the spot, whereas his friend suffered minor injuries.
