Hyderabad Metro Loan Talks Positive, Says CM Revanth Reddy After Meeting Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw

New Delhi/Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday said that discussions with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw regarding a loan from the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) for the Hyderabad Metro project were positive. The Chief Minister made the statement after meeting Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi along with Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy. The discussions focused on securing financial support for the Hyderabad Metro, and further consultations are scheduled with Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Revanth Reddy Meets Ashwini Vaishnaw and G. Kishan Reddy in Delhi

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi to discuss the issue of obtaining a loan from IRFC for the Hyderabad Metro project.

Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy also participated in the meeting.

The discussions were held as part of the Telangana government’s efforts to secure funding support for the Hyderabad Metro.

Hyderabad Metro IRFC Loan Discussions Positive

Speaking to media representatives after the meeting, Revanth Reddy said the talks with Ashwini Vaishnaw were positive.

Revanth Reddy also announced that he would meet Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday morning.

The meeting is expected to be part of the ongoing discussions between the Telangana government and the Centre regarding urban infrastructure development.
