The meeting focused on preventing public disturbance and ensuring strict compliance with the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, and other applicable laws.

During the meeting, Sri B. Krishna Goud, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Addl. DCP), Golconda Zone, Hyderabad, warned that strict legal action would be taken against Function Hall Owners and Managements found violating noise pollution rules, government guidelines, and police regulations.
Additional DCP B. Krishna Goud Highlights Public Complaints
Addressing the gathering, Sri B. Krishna Goud emphasized that Function Hall Owners and Managements must strictly follow all guidelines issued by the Government and the Police Department from time to time.
He informed the participants that the police frequently receive complaints from the public regarding:
- Loud music
- DJ systems
- Use of loudspeakers beyond permissible timings
- Bursting of firecrackers
- Traffic congestion
- Improper parking of vehicles
- Other activities causing disturbance to residents living near function halls
Hyderabad Police Issue Key Instructions to Function Hall Owners
The Additional DCP instructed all Function Hall Owners to ensure the following:
- Strict adherence to the provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.
- No use of loudspeakers, DJ systems, or high-volume music beyond the permissible sound limits and timings prescribed by law.
- No public nuisance or disturbance should be caused to residents of surrounding localities.
- Proper parking arrangements must be made to ensure vehicles do not obstruct roads, footpaths, or public places.
- All necessary precautions must be taken to maintain peace, public order, and safety during functions and events.
- All permissions, conditions, and guidelines issued by competent authorities must be strictly followed.
Strict Legal Action for Violations
The Addl. DCP warned that any violation of the prescribed guidelines or any act causing public disturbance would be viewed seriously.
He stated that stringent legal action would be initiated against the concerned Function Hall Owners and Managements as per the provisions of law without any notice.
He further stated that in cases of repeated violations, action would be initiated to bind over the concerned Function Hall Owners and Managements under the relevant provisions of law. Proposals would also be sent to the concerned authorities for cancellation of their trade licences and permissions.
Function Hall Owners Assure Cooperation
All Function Hall Owners and Managers present at the meeting assured the police that they would strictly comply with the prescribed guidelines and cooperate with the Police Department in maintaining peace and public order.
Police Officials and Function Hall Representatives Attend Meeting
The meeting was attended by the Station House Officers (SHOs) of:
- Tappachabutra Police Station
- Gudimalkapura Police Station
- Kulsumpura Police Station
- Mangalhat Police Station
The Detective Inspectors (DIs) and Sub-Inspectors of Police (SIs) of the respective police stations under Kulsumpura Division also attended the programme.
A large number of Function Hall Owners and Managers operating within the limits of Kulsumpura Division participated in the meeting and assured the police of their full cooperation in strictly following the guidelines and maintaining public peace and order.

The Hyderabad City Police appealed to all Function Hall Owners and the general public to cooperate with the Police Department in ensuring a peaceful environment and maintaining the quality of life of residents.
