Hyderabad: The Sultan Bazaar police booked a case against a trader for hurting the religious sentiments of a particular community.
The trader had stocked some T shirts on which verses from the Quran were printed. Acting upon a complaint, the police searched the shop and seized the merchandise. Telangana Today reported.
During interrogation the trader told the police that he did not intend to hurt religious feelings of any community and had sourced the T-shirts from a wholesaler.
Investigations are underway.
