Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Major Diversions Announced for Fish Prasadam Event at Exhibition Grounds Nampally on June 8-9

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced extensive traffic diversions and parking arrangements in connection with the annual Fish Prasadam event at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally. According to the advisory issued by the Office of the Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad City, the diversions will be implemented from 08-06-2026 at 0600 hours to 09-06-2026 at 2000 hours as moderate traffic congestion is expected around the venue.

To ensure the safety of commuters and facilitate smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow, traffic diversions will be enforced in and around the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, and adjoining junctions on a need basis. The Hyderabad Traffic Police said the arrangements have been made to ensure hassle-free movement of motorists during the Fish Prasadam event.

Fish Prasadam Parking Arrangements for Visitors

The following parking arrangements will be implemented if required based on the local situation:

• People arriving in 4-wheelers from the Nampally side for Fish Prasadam will park their vehicles at Gruha Kalpa, Gagan Vihar and Chandra Vihar and proceed on foot towards Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2.
• People coming for Fish Prasadam in buses and vans from M.J. Market will alight at Gandhi Bhavan Bus Stop.
• Buses and vans coming from the Nampally side will drop passengers at Gruha Kalpa Bus Stop, from where visitors will proceed to Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2.

VIP Entry and Parking Details

All VIP car pass holders coming from M.J. Market will proceed towards Gandhi Bhavan and take a left turn at Adab Hotel lane towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate before reaching the VIP Entry Gate.

VIP car pass holders coming from the Nampally side will take a U-turn at Gandhi Bhavan and then take a left turn towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate before reaching the VIP Entry Gate.

All VIP vehicles will be parked in the designated VIP Parking Area.

Two-Wheeler Parking and Auto Alighting Points

People arriving on two-wheelers from M.J. Market for Fish Prasadam will park their vehicles at the Manoranjan Complex parking area.

Two-wheeler riders coming from the Nampally side will park their vehicles on the left side at Bheem Rao Bada, located beside Shezan Hotel.

For the convenience of devotees, auto alighting arrangements have been made in front of Shezan Hotel.

Special Arrangements for Government and Service Vehicles

Government vehicles, buses and vans will be parked at the CWC parking area.

Water tankers of HMWS and vehicles of the Fisheries Department carrying fish to the Exhibition Grounds will be permitted entry through Gate No. 3.

Vehicles belonging to voluntary organizations carrying food materials with valid passes will also be allowed through Gate No. 3.

Hyderabad Traffic Diversions During Fish Prasadam Event

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced the following diversions:

• Vehicles coming from the M.J. Market side will be diverted towards Abids, GPO Nampally, Hyderabad.
• General traffic coming from M.J. Bridge and Begum Bazar Chatri towards Nampally will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam, Ek Minar and other routes.
• Private travels and heavy vehicles will be diverted at M.J. Market towards GPO and at AR Petrol Pump towards GPO.
• Private travels and heavy vehicles will not be permitted from M.J. Market towards Taj Island and from Taj Island towards M.J. Market.

Traffic Police Appeal to Citizens

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has requested all commuters to take note of the traffic diversions and use alternative routes to reach their destinations during the Fish Prasadam event.
