Hyderabad: Traffic curbs to be in place on Telangana Formation Day at Public Gardens

Hyderabad: the State Formation Day events will be held on June 2, on Thursday, at Public Gardens, Nampally. In this connection, the city police have released a traffic advisory for June 2, from 07.30 am to 11 am.

Since traffic from MJ Market to Public Garden will be prohibited, vehicles will be redirected at Taj Island to Eik Minar, Asif Nagar/ Red Hills, Ayodhya Hotel, Lakdi ka pul, and other locations.

Traffic from Nampally Railway Station to Public Garden will be diverted via Gunfoundry, Abids, or BJR Statue, Basheerbagh Flyover through Chapel Road T Jn.

Traffic from Nirankari Bhavan and Khairiatabad will be redirected to Telephone Bhavan, Iqbal Minar, Secretariat Road, Telugu Thalli, Ambedkar Statue, Liberty, Basheerbagh, and Abids, among other places.

Traffic from Hyderguda, King Koti, and BJR Statue at Basheerbagh Junction would be redirected to Liberty, Telugu Talli, NTR Marg, Iqbal Minar, Old PS Saifabad, Lakdi ka pul Bridge, and BJR Statue, Abids, among other destinations. Telangana Today reported.

Traffic coming from the Telugu Thalli, NTR Marg, and Liberty sides at Adarsh Nagar (New MLA Quarters) will be diverted towards Liberty road and Telugu Talli Flyover towards Adarsh Nagar road and Police Control Room Junction (PCR).

Traffic from Tank Bund will be restricted at Ravindra Bharathi and would be diverted at Iqbal Minar to Telephone Bhavan Road, Old PS Saifabad, and Lakdi ka pul Bridge, among other places.

Traffic from Sujatha School to the Public Garden will be routed to the AR Petrol Pump in the direction of the BJR statue.

However, permission will be granted to use diversion points to car pass holders attending the Telangana State Formation Day.

The Hyderabad Police Department has requested the commuters to use other routes and comply.
