Hyderabad: The city of Hyderabad in India is undergoing a transformative change as it embraces a wave of ambitious skyscraper projects. With futuristic architectural designs that promise to reshape the skyline, these nearly a dozen towering structures are slated to be erected over the next few years. Upon their completion, these architectural wonders will not only redefine the city’s skyline but also position Hyderabad as the leader in skyscrapers within the country, even challenging the likes of Mumbai.
In recent years, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) has given the green light for a cluster of skyscraper projects ranging from 50 to 59 floors. These impressive buildings are strategically located around Kokapet, Serlingampally, and Puppalaguda, with estimated completion dates falling between 2026 and 2029.
Among these remarkable constructions is the Candeur Skyline, set to become Hyderabad’s tallest building with an impressive 59 floors, situated in Puppalaguda. Following closely is the SAS Crown in Kokapet and the Golden Mile real estate project, both boasting 58 floors.
Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “For Hyderabad, the sky is the limit as we embark on reshaping its skyline. With around 10 major building plans approved for 50 to 59 floors, and at least five such structures in Neopolis and Kokapet, we are already second only to Mumbai in high-rise buildings.”
Adding to the city’s upward trajectory is The Trilight project, featuring a tower with 57 floors and a second tower with 50 floors, both situated in Kokapet. Meanwhile, the Srias Diamond Towers skyscraper, boasting an impressive 54 floors, is anticipated to grace Puppalaguda by 2026.
