Speaking at a review meeting held on Monday at the Housing Corporation Head Office in Hyderabad, the Minister said that eligible applicants can receive houses anytime they apply, as housing sanctions will now be a continuous process. The implementation is ongoing, with new measures being introduced.

The review meeting was attended by:

Weekly Reviews, Special Officers for Undivided Districts
The Minister directed:
- District Collectors to prioritize Indiramma Housing Scheme
- Conduct weekly reviews with district housing officials
- Appointment of a special officer for each undivided district
This step aims to improve coordination and prevent ground-level issues.
Continuous Housing Sanctions and 3,500 Houses per Constituency
The Minister said:
- Housing sanctions will be a continuous process
- Even those who did not apply earlier can now apply
- If found eligible, they will be sanctioned houses
He also stated:
- 3,500 houses have been sanctioned per constituency without political bias
MLAs were urged to ensure timely construction.
Instructions on Pending Works and Beneficiary Support
Key directions include:
- Reassign houses if beneficiaries are unable or unwilling to construct
- Release pending payments immediately after basement stage completion
- Resolve delays caused by technical issues in bills
- Adopt a humanitarian approach for poor beneficiaries
Completion of Double Bedroom Houses and Basic Amenities
The Minister ordered:
- Completion of unfinished double-bedroom houses built by the previous government
- Provision of drinking water, electricity, and drainage
- Immediate allotment to beneficiaries regardless of construction stage
Urban Housing Flexibility: 400 to 600 Sq Ft G+1 Model
Considering land scarcity in urban areas:
- Houses can be constructed between 400 and 600 square feet
- A G+1 model has been permitted
Permanent Solution to Land Disputes Through Survey
The Minister emphasized:
- Comprehensive land surveys to resolve disputes permanently
- Pilot projects in five mandals
- Registration based on survey maps
- Assignment of survey map numbers and Bhudhar numbers after registration
Sada Bainamas and RDO Powers
On Sada Bainamas, the Minister said:
- Applications will be resolved quickly
- Buyer’s declaration alone will be sufficient
- Decision-making powers given to Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs)
New Tahsildar Offices and Modern Sub-Registrar Offices
The Minister announced:
- Construction of new Tahsildar office buildings in phases
- Priority to dilapidated offices
- Establishment of modern Sub-Registrar offices in every district headquarters
- District Collectors directed to prepare proposals
Resolution of Inter-Departmental Land Disputes
The Minister highlighted:
- Long-pending boundary disputes between Revenue, Forest, Endowment, and Waqf departments
- Joint surveys will be conducted for permanent resolution
