Telangana: Is Harish Rao Planning to Exit BRS? Here’s What He Said About KCR and KTR

His statement comes in the wake of widespread speculation suggesting internal dissent and possible defections from the BRS following recent electoral setbacks.

Hyderabad: Amid growing social media speculation, BRS MLA and former minister T. Harish Rao has categorically denied rumours about leaving the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Addressing the buzz, Rao said there was “no question of switching parties”, reaffirming his allegiance to party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

“KCR is Our Leader, I Will Follow His Guidance”

In a clear and firm message, Harish Rao stated, “Once again, I reiterate — KCR is our leader, and I will follow his guidance without question.” His statement comes in the wake of widespread speculation suggesting internal dissent and possible defections from the BRS following recent electoral setbacks.

Backs KTR if Leadership is Handed Over

Rao further expressed his readiness to support any leadership transition within the party. “If K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) is given the party’s leadership, I will wholeheartedly support it. As a dedicated party worker, I stand by every decision made by KCR and the party,” he added, signaling unity within the top ranks of the BRS.

No Rift Within the Party, Says Rao

By issuing this clarification, Harish Rao aimed to shut down any narrative of internal rift or dissatisfaction. His remarks are seen as an effort to restore confidence among BRS supporters and reinforce party cohesion during a politically sensitive period.
