Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, under the leadership of Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among Muslims and specific Muslim organizations. He announced their intention to work closely with the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat during the advisory council meeting.
Maulana Madani emphasized the gravity of the political and social situation in the country, urging unity and consensus on crucial matters.
He assured the audience that in the upcoming Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind meeting, they would propose joining the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat.
Maulana Mahmood Madani’s Majlis-e-Aamila has also endorsed cooperation with the Mushawarat, and deliberations on membership acceptance are ongoing.
During his welcome address, Feroze Ahmed Advocate, the president of the Mushawarat, echoed the call for unity and consensus. He condemned attempts to categorize Muslims as backward or non-backward, urging the Muslim community to thwart such divisive schemes. Former president Naveed Hamid remarked that when someone suggests Muslims are fearful, it only bolsters the morale of sectarians.
