KCR condoles demise of Mecca Masjid imam

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Mecca Masjid Imam and Islamic scholar Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Usman Naqshbandi passed away here on Saturday.

In a message, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao condoled the death of Imam.

He said that the services of Imam, who worked for about 50 years, are commendable.

The Chief Minister remembered Hafiz Maulana’s efforts and his association with the departed Islamic scholar since the Telangana statehood movement.

KCR prayed to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
