Hyderabad: BRS party working president K T Rama Rao today lashed out at the ruling Congress party and the betrayal of the Telangana society during the previous Congress governments.
Taking to his twitter handle, he questioned the atrocities committed by the Congress governments. “Who killed thousands of people in Telangana? By whom did the martyrs’ memorial has to be constructed,” he asked. He also posed a series of questions on the occasion.
“Who opened fire near the City College against the students, who fought to keep Hyderabad State separate and not to merge with Andhra?”
“Who shot dead 370 Telangana children during the first phase of the 1969-71 separate State movement? In the 1971 parliamentary elections, the Telangana Praja Samithi (TPS) won a majority of the seats. Who destroyed the party,” KTR asked.
In this way, one by one, he referred to the Congress’ betrayals in the form of questions and demanded answers from the Congress party. KTR was accompanied by a photo of the martyrs’ memorial.
