Hyderabad: Tappachabutra Police conducted a midnight special drive under “Mission Chabutra” in Karwan and Tappachabutra Police Station limits to maintain peace and law and order. During the operation, police kept special surveillance on people sitting in groups on roadside chabutras late at night. Officials said the mission was aimed at preventing anti-social activities, gambling, drug consumption, fights, rash driving, and public nuisance in residential areas.

As part of “Mission Chabutra,” Tappachabutra Police carried out special inspections in sensitive areas under the Tappachabutra Police Station limits.

Police teams conducted surprise visits and vehicle checking operations till midnight in Karwan and nearby areas.

According to police, the main objective of the mission was to prevent:

Police Question Youth Gathering on Chabutras

Police reportedly questioned several youths who were unnecessarily roaming on roads and sitting in groups on roadside chabutras during late-night hours.

Officials collected details of suspicious persons and warned them not to disturb peace and law and order in residential localities.
