Nampally Court Rejects Mahboob Alam Khan’s Bail; Khaja Farhan Says Hearing on Mujahid Alam Khan’s Plea Set for July 17

Nampally Court rejected the bail plea of Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, while Khaja Farhan said Mujahid Alam Khan's bail hearing is scheduled for July 17. Farhan made several allegations during a press conference following the court proceedings.

The Nampally Court on Tuesday rejected the bail petition of Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, according to Khaja Farhan, son of slain advocate Khaja Moizuddin. Addressing a press conference after the court proceedings, Khaja Farhan said the order was passed at around 5 PM in connection with Crime No. 206/2026 of Nampally Police Station. He also stated that the bail plea of Mujahid Alam Khan is scheduled to be heard on July 17.

Khaja Farhan Welcomes Court’s Decision

Speaking to the media, Khaja Farhan said the rejection of the bail petition of Accused No. 2, Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, was an encouraging first step in the legal process.

He said the court passed a detailed order rejecting the bail application and added that his legal team would obtain a copy of the order.

Khaja Farhan expressed confidence in the judiciary and the police department. However, he said the legal battle was far from over and that his family would continue to proceed cautiously in consultation with senior advocates.

Bail Hearing of Mujahid Alam Khan on July 17

Khaja Farhan stated that Mujahid Alam Khan, whom he described as Accused No. 1, has also filed a bail petition. He further said that other accused persons, including those whom he described as “supari accused,” have also sought bail.

According to him, the next hearing on these bail petitions is scheduled for July 17. He said he expects the police to file a counter and that he, as the de facto complainant, would participate in the proceedings.

Thanks to Advocates, Family and Well-Wishers

During the press conference, Khaja Farhan thanked Allah, his senior advocates, senior counsel, Bar Council members, family members, friends, supporters and well-wishers for standing by him throughout the case.

He said his legal team, including a senior counsel who is a Bar Council member, argued extensively during the bail hearing.

Claims Regarding the Murder Case

Khaja Farhan alleged during the press conference that Mujahid Alam Khan and Mahboob Alam Khan conspired in the murder of his father, Advocate Khaja Moizuddin.

He further claimed that his father was murdered on May 23, 2026, while leaving for swimming in the morning.

According to Khaja Farhan, the murder was linked to a 15-year dispute concerning the Anwar-ul-Uloom College Waqf, the Mumtaz Waqf, and the Madrasa Nawab Shah Alam Khan College Waqf in Hyderabad. He alleged that when favourable orders were not obtained in the dispute, the accused resorted to the crime.

These are allegations made by Khaja Farhan during the press conference.

Allegations of Threats Inside Court

Khaja Farhan also alleged that lawyers representing the accused threatened, abused and attempted to intimidate him and his supporters inside the court premises during the hearing.

He claimed the presiding judge repeatedly called for police assistance by directing that personnel from Nampally Police Station be summoned.

Khaja Farhan said he would continue pursuing the case through legal means and would not be intimidated.

These allegations were made by Khaja Farhan during his media interaction and have not been independently verified by Munsif News 24×7.

Claims Regarding Recent Arrests

Khaja Farhan further claimed that on July 13, police arrested:

  • Abid Rahman, whom he identified as an accountant at Anwar-ul-Uloom College and a resident of Malak Ali.
  • Mohammed Nizamuddin, whom he identified as an attender at Anwar-ul-Uloom College and a resident of Yasergar.

He alleged that they handled the college’s financial collections and distributed money to Munir and Chaus, whom he described as absconding.

Khaja Farhan also appealed for a detailed investigation into the financial transactions of Anwar-ul-Uloom College, alleging that funds collected in the name of the institution should be thoroughly examined.

The Nampally Court on Tuesday rejected the bail plea of Nawab Mahboob Alam Khan, while the bail application of Mujahid Alam Khan is scheduled to be heard on July 17, according to Khaja Farhan. During his press conference, Farhan welcomed the court’s decision, thanked his legal team and supporters, and made several allegations regarding the murder of his father, Advocate Khaja Moizuddin, the alleged motive behind the crime, the conduct of certain lawyers inside the court, and recent arrests.
