Nine Lives Lost in Devastating Residential Fire in Nampally Hyderabad_Video


Hyderabad: A massive fire erupted at a residential building in Hyderabad’s Nampally, claiming nine lives on Monday. Three individuals sustained injuries and were promptly transferred to hospitals.

The fire, initiated on the ground floor where chemicals were stored, spread through the building, leading to ongoing rescue and cooling efforts.

Evacuations are underway for residents in upper stories via windows. As of now, 21 people have been rescued, with 10 found unconscious.

The fire, believed to have started from a spark during car repair, was not extinguished by water, according to an eyewitness. The fire brigade was notified at 9:35 am, dispatching multiple tenders to the scene. The official determination of the fire’s cause and the extent of damage is pending.
