Islamabad: A policeman and three terrorists were killed in a clash in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday, official sources said.
The terrorists attacked a police van near a police station in Dera Ismail Khan district of the province, killing the policeman right at the spot, the officials told Xinhua.
Three terrorists were killed in retaliatory fire by police, and their bodies have been taken into custody for investigation, the sources added.
The area had been cordoned off for investigation. No group has claimed the attack yet.
