Reliance Jio is gearing up to launch Jio AirFiber, a novel wireless internet solution for households and workplaces. Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, disclosed during today’s 2023 AGM that the Jio AirFiber service will make its debut in India on September 19, 2023, which coincides with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
The introduction of Jio AirFiber was initially announced at the company’s 45th AGM last year. Jio highlighted that this service will provide users with wireless internet speeds akin to fiber-optic connections, enabling them to engage in various activities with minimal delay and ample bandwidth. Streaming videos, gaming, and video conferencing are among the high-quality applications that will be facilitated. Additionally, the service encompasses features like parental controls, Wi-Fi 6 support, and more.
