Renuka Chowdary asserts confidence in Congress victory, criticises KCR’s policies

Khammam: Former Minister Renuka Chowdary on Monday expressed confidence on Monday that the Congress would overcome any obstacles in its path, emphasising that the post of Chief Minister is a decision of the High Command, despite popular expectations.
Speaking to the media, she recalled instances where the expected Chief Ministerial candidate was not appointed, citing the example of DK Sivaram in Karnataka.

Accusing KCR of deceiving unemployed individuals with job notifications, she credited Rajiv Gandhi for granting voting rights to 18-year-old women and men.
Chowdary, who predicted a Congress victory in Telangana State, criticized the “incompetent governments” that have allegedly oppressed the people. Additionally, she stressed the importance of minorities expressing their support for the Congress.
Commenting on the minorities’ distancing from the MIM, she mentioned Congress candidate Mohammad Azharuddin’s active participation in the campaign. Chowdary, who served as Union Minister, highlighted her involvement in various development programs and raised concerns about the collapse of double bedroom houses during construction. She reminded the public of the construction of lakhs of Indiramma houses.
Reacting to individuals who changed party allegiance, she expressed hope for their return to Congress in the future. Commenting on the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, she expressed sadness, while noting satisfaction that the TDP is not contesting . She expressed happiness over the support from CPI.
