Saudi Driver Dania Akeel Achieves Third Place in ‘T3’ Category at Desert Car Rally World Cup


In the Baja Poland leg of the Desert Car Rally World Cup, Saudi driver Dania Akeel secured the third position in the ‘T3’ category after covering a 44.22 km journey. Kuwaiti racer Mushari al-Dhafiri claimed the top spot in the general classification of the same category.


Dania, a significant figure in Arab female car racing, expressed her goal of participating in Poland and had prepared well for the fifth round, featuring a 387-kilometer high-speed course. Her career achievements include being the first Saudi, Arab, and international woman to win the World Cup for the Desert Rally Baja Championship. Over the course of the rally, a total distance of 560 km was covered.
