Around 20 persons consuming alcohol openly on the road were apprehended during the inspection conducted under the jurisdiction of Chilkalguda Police Station.

Surprise Inspection Conducted at JP Liquor Wines
According to the press note, the inspection was carried out at approximately 19:30 hours by Rakshitha Krishna Murthy at JP Liquor Wines located on Boiguda Road in Chilkalguda.
During the inspection, police officials found several violations of law and licensing conditions.
Officials observed that numerous individuals were openly consuming liquor on the public road, allegedly causing significant nuisance to residents and commuters.
Police stated that the activity violated excise regulations and disturbed public order.
About 20 Persons Apprehended for Open Drinking
As part of the operation, around 20 persons found consuming alcohol in public were apprehended by police officials.
According to the press note, the individuals were counselled regarding the legal consequences of public drinking and were strictly warned against future violations.
The DCP directed the Station House Officer of Chilkalguda Police Station to register cases against the violators under relevant sections of law related to public nuisance and open drinking.
Liquor Shop Management Warned Over Violations
Police officials strongly censured the owner and management of JP Liquor Wines for allegedly permitting and encouraging unlawful activities around the premises.
The management was directed to strictly comply with all licensing conditions and excise rules.
