Senior Advocate Ghulam Yazdani Passes Away at 98 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Renowned legal luminary and Designated Senior Advocate Janab Ghulam Yazdani Sahab passed away at the age of 98 at Century Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Wednesday, May 28, 2026, corresponding to 10th Zilhijja 1447 AH.
Widely respected for his contributions to the legal fraternity and public life, Ghulam Yazdani Sahab was regarded as a pillar of the community and an extraordinary human being admired by people from all walks of life.

According to family members, the mortal remains will be kept at Jaweed Maskan, Hill Fort, Naubat Pahad, before being taken to his residence at Gunfoundry at 10 a.m.

Funeral prayers will be offered at Jama Masjid-e-Aliya, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad, after Namaz-e-Juma. The late advocate had long been associated with the historic mosque and was known as one of its longest-serving caretakers and servants.
Members of the legal fraternity, community leaders, relatives and well-wishers have expressed deep grief over his passing and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
Prayers have been requested for the departed soul and for strength and patience for the grieving family.
