Great Islamic scholar and preacher Allama Dr. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi passed on Monday, September 26 at the age of 96.
Yusuf al-Qardawi was an Egyptian Islamic scholar based in Doha, Qatar and chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars. Among his influencers are Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim, Sayyid Rashid Rida, Hasan al-Banna, Abul Hasan Ali Hosni Nadwi, Abul Ala Maududi and Naeem Siddiqui.
The news of his sad demise was announced by his official Twitter handle.
