TADJAC opposes Congress’ promise of free bus travel to women, to vote for BRS party
Auto Drivers JAC Convenor Mohd Amanullah Khan regretted that the Congress party in its guarantee card has included free bus travel to women without considering its direct consequences on Auto Taxi Drivers business.
Hyderabad: Shake Hand Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has strongly opposed the Congress election manifesto of free bus travel to women in Telangana State on the lines of the Karnataka State and appealed to Auto-Taxi Drivers in Telangana to vote the BRS party candidates instead of Congress party.
In a press statement today, Auto Drivers JAC Convenor Mohd Amanullah Khan regretted that the Congress party in its guarantee card has included free bus travel to women without considering its direct consequences on Auto Taxi Drivers business.
The Auto-Taxi Drivers in the Karnataka State where this Congress free bus travel scheme to women is implemented the drivers business is badly affected and the drivers are forced to launch protest against free bus travel to women.
Whereas, on the other hand, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has sensibly avoided in the election manifesto the free bus travel scheme to women in order to safeguard the interests of the Auto-Taxi Drivers and we welcome his stand in this regard.
Mohd Amanullah Khan said our JAC has decided to support BRS party and to vote in favour of its candidates so that the Congress party is kept out of power in this election.
