Telangana Hospital uses Fevi kwik to seal boy’s wound instead of giving stitches


Gadwal: In a strange incident of carelessness by the staff of a private hospital, a boy was applied Fevi kwik instead of giving stitches to seal his wound. This strange incident took place in a private hospital in Gadwal district of Telangana.

According to sources, Vamshi Krishna and Sunita, a couple from Lingamagur in Raichur district of Karnataka, came to Gadwal to attend their relative’s wedding. Their son Praveen fell down and sustained injury on the upper part of his left eye. He was rushed to a local private hospital for treatment where the medical staff instead of stitching the wound applied Fevi kwik, on which the boy started screaming.

When the boy’s fathe questioned the doctor in this regard, he said that it happened due to the mistake of the staff. The boy’s father asked the doctors what would have happened if the Fevi kwik had gone into the eye. The father of the injured boy complained about the incident to the police. The police is investigating the matter.
