Telangana Swimmers Shine at National Aquatic Championships
Among the standout performers, five Telangana State swimmers made their mark with impressive medal collections:

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Swimming Association (TSA) hosted a grand felicitation ceremony at the GHMC Swimming Pool in Secunderabad to honor the remarkable achievements of Telangana’s young swimmers.
These achievements were earned at the 39th Sub Junior National Aquatic Championship and the 49th Junior National Aquatic Championship held at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The event witnessed the recognition of exceptional talents who brought home numerous medals.
Among the standout performers, five Telangana State swimmers made their mark with impressive medal collections:
Vritti Agarwal emerged as a star with an astounding achievement of securing 4 Gold and 1 Silver Medal.
Shivani Karra showcased her prowess by clinching 2 Gold and 3 Silver Medals.
Rithvika Mittapalli proudly brought home 1 Bronze Medal.
Sri Nithya Sagi displayed her swimming finesse with 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal.
Suhas Preetham contributed to the team’s success by winning 2 Bronze Medals.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished individuals in the world of sports, including Ayush Yadav, the SATS Coach, and John Siddiqui from Zyon Sports.
Sri P. Chandra Shekar Reddy, President of the Telangana Swimming Association, led the felicitation efforts to honor these talented swimmers.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Sri G. Umesh, Secretary of TSA, Sri Shoban, Observer of the Telangana Olympic Association, and Sri K. Srinivas Goud, Assistant Director of Sports at GHMC, who all came together to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Telangana’s young aquatic talents.
