Telangana Government will organize grand “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika” celebrations from June 2 to June 12 and expand the Indiramma Family Life Insurance scheme through door-to-door surveys.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has decided to organize grand celebrations across the State from June 2 to June 12 to mark the successful completion of the 99-day “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika” programme. The decision was taken during a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu at the Secretariat. The committee also reviewed the implementation of the “Indiramma Family Life Insurance” scheme, including a door-to-door survey and special logo stickers for surveyed households.

Cabinet Sub-Committee Meeting Held at Secretariat
The high-level review meeting was held on Tuesday at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.

The Cabinet Sub-Committee reviewed the progress of the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika” programmes conducted at village, mandal, constituency, and district levels.
Grand Celebrations Planned From June 2 to June 12
The committee directed officials to organize the concluding celebrations in a grand manner across the State from June 2 to June 12 under the title “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika.”
Officials were instructed to increase public participation and conduct several awareness and development programmes during the 12-day celebrations.
Programmes Planned During Celebrations
The committee directed officials to organize:
- Environment Week celebrations
- Road safety awareness programmes
- Anti-drug campaigns
- Women and child protection initiatives
- Housing programmes
- Tourism promotion activities
- Urban development programmes
- Foundation stone laying ceremonies
- Inauguration programmes for renewable energy (Green Energy) projects
The ministers emphasized that all departments must work in coordination without any lapses.
“Indiramma Family Life Insurance” Scheme Reviewed
The Cabinet Sub-Committee also held extensive discussions regarding the implementation of the “Indiramma Family Life Insurance” scheme introduced by the Telangana Government to provide social security to every family in the State.
The ministers reiterated that the government is committed to extending the insurance scheme to every eligible person.
Door-to-Door Survey and Logo Stickers Planned
The committee decided that comprehensive household-level data collection would be conducted to ensure that every house in the State is covered under the survey.
Officials were directed to organize special camps for people left out of the survey process.
The ministers also instructed departments to conduct large-scale awareness programmes to ensure that people receive information about the benefits of the insurance scheme.
According to the committee’s decision:
- A unique logo will be designed for the insurance scheme
- Stickers carrying the logo will be pasted on every house where the survey has been completed
Chief Secretary Directs Departments to Submit Action Plans
Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao directed all departments to immediately prepare and submit comprehensive action plans.
