Adilabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said his government policy is to maintain good relations with the Centre and it will not create any conflict atmosphere for the development of Telangana State.
He said the politics should be confined to only during the elections, but the development process should be continued forever.
“An atmosphere of conflict between Central and State governments is not good and there should be an atmosphere of harmony,” Revanth Reddy pointed out.
Addressing the meeting after participating in multiple development projects along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Adilabad on Monday, the Chief Minister has requested the Prime Minister to extend the support for the development of Telangana, including the expansion of Hyderabad Metro project and Musi Riverfront development project.
He also requested the Prime Minister to extend the cooperation for setting up the semi-conductor industry in Telangana.
“The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has to be produced 4,000 MW of power as per the promise of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, but it is now being produced only 1600 MW due to the negligence act of the previous BRS government in Telangana. Now, the State government is ready to give all permissions for the remaining works of 2,400 MW and the Centre should speed up its process to generate power,” Revanth Reddy disclosed.
He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respond positively on the proposals of constructing skyways and setting up a Textile Park in Telangana.
Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy were also present in the programme.
