Telugu Version of Sam Pitroda’s “Redesign The World” Unveiled in a Grand Launch Event
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Sri. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, and Sri M.M. Pallam Raju, Former Union Cabinet Minister, as chief guests.
Hyderabad: In a momentous occasion marked by intellectual discourse and visionary insights, the Telugu version of Sam Pitroda’s globally acclaimed book, “Redesign The World,” was officially launched today at the Hotel Taj Krishna, Sapphire Banquet Hall, Banjara Hills.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Sri. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, and Sri M.M. Pallam Raju, Former Union Cabinet Minister, as chief guests.
Titled “ప్రరంచానికి కొత్తరూరం ఇద్దం. కదలిరండి” in Telugu, the book was translated by Poludasu Narasimha Rao, with editing by Dr. D Chandrashekar Reddy. The launch event, graced by luminaries from various fields, showcased the intellectual depth and societal relevance of Pitroda’s work.
Sam Pitroda, unable to be physically present, joined the event via a Zoom call, expressing his gratitude for the Telugu translation and the overwhelming support for his work. Chief Guests Sri. Mallu Bhatti Vikramaraka and Sri M.M. Pallam Raju, along with other dignitaries, unveiled the Telugu edition, symbolizing a significant step towards making Pitroda’s visionary ideas accessible to a wider audience.
Speaking at the launch, C S Rao, Chairman of QuadGen Wireless Solutions Pvt. Ltd, emphasized the book’s importance in addressing global issues and the need for a change in the world order. He lauded the efforts of the translator, Sri. P. N. Rao, and commended the support from EMESCO, a well-established Telugu publication house based in Hyderabad.
C S RAO expressed, “This Telugu translation deserves to be read across by Worldwide Telugu-speaking people, showing true concerns of the World structure and its impact on India’s growing stature.” He also thanked Sam Pitroda for granting the rights for Telugu translation and acknowledged the support of EMESCO, led by Shri Vijay Kumar.
Sam Pitroda’s book provides a profound exploration of global issues, offering clear identification of problems and proposing pragmatic solutions. Pitroda’s focus on Information Technology, Democratisation, Decentralisation, and Demonetisation as agents of change reflects his belief in the power of these dimensions to reshape the world order.
