Various Muslim organizations in the United States and Canada arrange for moon sighting, and its formal announcement is made through mosques. Similarly, arrangements have been made for moon sighting in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other Gulf countries.
It should be noted that two astronomers each from Saudi Arabia and Egypt have predicted the sighting of the moon of Ramadan today. A similar prediction has also emerged in the United Arab Emirates.
However, numerous astronomers around the world claim that only the islands of the Pacific Ocean will be able to sight the moon today, and besides that, there is no possibility of the moon being sighted in any other country. It should be clear that in India, the beginning of Ramadan could be on Tuesday, March 12.
