In an attempt to avoid middle men, UAE Consulate in Hyderabad will be inaugurated on June 14 to resolve visa issues.
The opening of the UAE Consulate in Banjara Hills of the city will be held on June 14.
The consulate building is equipped with the latest technology. UAE visa applicants will get a big relief after the inauguration of this new building.
Although the consulate in Banjara Hills started its operations six months ago, the consulate services were offered from April and will be inaugurated on June 14.
UAE Consul General in Hyderabad Arif Al Naeem said this step has been taken in view of the large-scale demand for visas from Hyderabad.
He said that many UAE nationals also travel to Hyderabad for medical and educational reasons.
He said that this consulate has been established to process 200 applications per day, but it is planned to process 500 applications per day during the next few months.
This new consulate will not only provide relief to visa applicants from Telangana but also visa applicants from Tamil Nadu, AP and Odisha.
