“We were cheated. Don’t get cheated”: posters emerge in Munugode
Munugode will be going for polls on November 3.
Munugode: Making a scathing attack against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, film-style posters have been put up across Chandur town in the Munugode Assembly constituency.
The posters undersigned as the people of Huzurabad and people of Dubbaka read “We were cheated. Don’t get cheated.”, referring to the BJP’s win in both Huzurabad and Dubbaka constituencies during the bye-poll.
The posters have been put up in Telugu by unknown persons on the walls of houses and properties in different areas of the constituency.
Some posters also read “18,000 crores,” and sported a tagline “presented by Shah Productions.” Rajagopal Reddy has joined the BJP after resigning the post of MLA, allegedly in lieu of a mining contract worth Rs 18,000 crore.
Munugode will be going for polls on November 3. It should be noted that the by-election in Monugude constituency became inevitable due to the resignation of Congress MLA Rajgopal Reddy from the Congress and the Assembly, who joined the Saffron Party.
