Yati Narsinghanand makes objectionable remarks against Quran, madrasas, AMU; booked

‘There should not be an institution like a madrasa. All the madrasas should be blown up with gunpowder and taking cue from China, all students of madrasas should be sent to detention camps and the virus called Quran should be removed from their brains.’

Controversial preacher Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati has called for blowing up of madrasas and the Aligarh Muslim University using “gunpowder”.

Answering to a question on madrasa, Yati Narsinghanand could be heard saying in a video, ‘there should not be an institution like a madrasa. All the madrasas should be blown up with gunpowder and taking cue from China, all students of madrasas should be sent to detention camps and the virus called Quran should be removed from their brains.’

A case has been registered against Yati Narsinghanand at Gandhi Park police station. He was in Aligarh to attend a program of the Hindu Mahasabha.

This is not the first time that the seer has been booked for hate speech. He was also arrested in the Haridwar hate speech case last year but was later released.

Yati Narsinghanand also made controversial remarks against Mahatma Gandhi saying that “Mahatma Gandhi was responsible for the murder of one crore Hindus”.
