Bomb Threat Email Triggers Panic on Delhi–Hyderabad IndiGo Flight; Turns Out to Be Hoax

Hyderabad: Panic gripped passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Saturday morning after an indigo flight arriving from Delhi received a bomb threat via email from unidentified persons.
According to airport sources, the threat email claimed that a bomb had been planted on the Delhi–Hyderabad flight. The alert led to heightened tension among passengers and authorities as soon as the aircraft approached Hyderabad.
Immediately after landing at the Shamshabad airport, security officials shifted the aircraft to an isolation bay as a precautionary measure. All passengers were safely deboarded before a thorough security check was initiated.
Teams from the bomb disposal squad and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) conducted a comprehensive search of the aircraft.

During the inspection, security personnel found a suspicious toy inside the plane, which initially triggered further concern. The object was carefully examined using specialized equipment. After detailed scrutiny, authorities confirmed that the item did not contain any explosive material and was merely an ordinary toy reportedly left behind by a passenger.
Officials later declared the threat to be a hoax.
