The operation was carried out under the directions of
D. Joel Davis, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad City, and supervised by
Chandra Kumar.

20 Traffic Violators Booked

The drive was led by
Mohammed Asif, Inspector of Traffic Police Station Santosh Nagar, along with his team.

During the enforcement drive

  • 08 cases were registered for mobile phone driving
  • 12 others were booked for different traffic violations
  • Total of 20 violators were caught during the drive

Police focused mainly on drivers using mobile phones while driving, which is considered highly dangerous.

Awareness and Counseling for Offenders

Apart from booking cases, officers also conducted awareness sessions for violators.
