Hyderabad Ganja Bust: 3.495 Kg Ganja Seized in Ramanthapur, Two Arrested by Excise Enforcement Team
Excise officials seized 3.495 kg ganja in two separate cases in Ramanthapur under Uppal Excise Station limits and arrested two accused in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: The Ranga Reddy Enforcement A Team and excise officials arrested two persons and seized 3.495 kilograms of ganja in two separate cases under the limits of Uppal Excise Station in Ramanthapur.

The raids were conducted at two locations in Ramanthapur by the enforcement team led by CI Balaraju and staff members.
According to officials, the accused were involved in ganja possession and sale activities.
2.46 Kg Ganja Seized From Kaushik in Gokul Nagar
In the first case, Buchilla Kaushik was caught at Gokul Nagar in Ramanthapur.
Officials said Kaushik allegedly used to procure ganja from Odisha and sell it locally.
Based on information received, the Ranga Reddy Enforcement A Team conducted inspections and arrested Kaushik.

During the raid, officials seized 2.46 kilograms of ganja from his possession.
1.035 Kg Ganja Seized From Praveen in RTC Colony
In the second case, officials seized 1.035 kilograms of ganja from Namelli Velthi Praveen at RTC Colony in Ramanthapur.
The accused was taken into custody during the operation conducted by the enforcement team.
Accused Handed Over to Uppal Excise Station
According to Assistant Commissioner R Kishan, both accused — Kaushik and Praveen — were arrested and handed over to Uppal Excise Station along with the seized ganja.
Officials confirmed that:
- Total ganja seized: 3.495 kilograms
- Total accused arrested: 2
Further investigation is underway in both cases.
