Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad visit, the political atmosphere in Telangana heated up once again after Telangana Youth Congress installed a large poster near Cyber Towers in HITEC City.

This is reportedly the third major protest demonstration by Congress in the last two months.
Congress Earlier Raised Slogans During IPL Match
Earlier, on May 3, Indian Youth Congress workers staged a protest during an IPL match at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
During the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, Youth Congress workers inside the stadium waved large cards carrying the slogan “PM Is Compromised.”
Congress Targets India-US Trade Agreement
According to political discussions surrounding the campaign, the Congress protest is linked to the trade agreement between India and the United States.
As per the agreement, India reportedly agreed to purchase goods worth 500 billion US dollars from America over five years and agreed not to buy Russian oil.
In return, the United States reduced tariffs on Indian goods from 25 percent to 18 percent.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi strongly criticized the agreement and alleged that Narendra Modi had “surrendered on tariffs” and had “sold the country.”
Earlier Rally Held in Khairatabad
Before the latest protest, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee had organized a rally in Khairatabad on March 14.
During the rally, protesters carried a 100-foot-long banner displaying the slogan “PM Is Compromised.”
Questions related to Narendra Modi’s name in the Jeffrey Epstein files were also raised during the protest campaign.
