Hyderabad: The Regional Passport Office Hyderabad announced that all Passport Seva services, including Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs), will remain closed on May 28, 2026, following the change in the government holiday for Eid-Ul-Zuha (Bakrid) from May 27 to May 28. Appointments scheduled for May 28 have been rescheduled to May 27.

Passport Offices to Remain Closed on May 28
According to Deputy Passport Officer Srinivasa Rao, the Passport Office, all Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs), and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) under the jurisdiction of the Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad will remain closed on May 28, 2026 (Thursday).
The closure follows the government’s decision to shift the Eid-Ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday from May 27 to May 28.
Hyderabad Passport Offices to Function on May 27
Officials clarified that the Passport Office, all PSKs, and POPSKs under the Regional Passport Office Hyderabad jurisdiction will remain open and functional on May 27, 2026 (Wednesday).
The department stated that all appointments originally scheduled for May 28 have now been rescheduled to May 27.

According to officials, intimation messages regarding the revised appointment dates have already been sent to the concerned applicants.
